MMJGA taught me the values of hard work, dedication, and perhaps most importantly, the power of building relationships. I use these building blocks that I developed in the program and as a caddie every day in the business world. I have connections now that I developed as a 13 year old at GVGCC and was fortunate enough to get into my career due to a relationship I made as a caddie.

Getting to caddie for Chip Beck “Mr. 59” and Gary McCord at the 3M open. McCord was a staple on the Golf Channel at the time so I had watched him in weeks prior doing interviews with Tiger and the rest of the big names on tour and the next week I was on his bag for the practice round. His stories were endless and hilarious.

Where are you now?

I went to College at Concordia University in St. Paul on a golf scholarship where I was a Finance and Marketing Major.

Currently I am working for Nesbit Agencies as a commercial insurance agent. During my first interview with the company I noticed a familiar face from my caddie days as a member of the country club was the individual that was hiring. After a few minutes of going over my resume he looked at me and said “you sure seem familiar” to which I replied “well I did caddie for you when I was 13”. He later told me that moment was when he knew he was going to hire me. That relationship as well as many others have served me well during my professional career and I can owe a great deal of that to ForeUs.
